At Home Practice: Here are some ideas for practicing English at home.
Writing Practice (Save your work and a teacher can check it when you come back to school!)
Journal Writing- Each day write down what you did. Use the past tense. Write as many things as you can. Be specific.
Recipe Writing- If you cook something, write down the recipe in English. What ingredients do you use? How do you make it? Is this a special dish from your country?
An Important Woman- March is International Women's Month. Write about an important woman in your life. Or, write about a famous woman that you admire. What is her name? Where is she from? Is she alive now? What does she do? Why do you admire her?
A Special Place- Write about a place that is important to you. It can be anywhere in the world. Describe the place. Why is it important.
