Hello! I have been very busy lately planning for summer and fall classes at our school. We need to change many things for next year, so I have been spending all my time working on that. This means I don't have as much time to make videos. However, you can still study English. You can use many websites to practice at home. You can also connect with your teachers . Many of them are teaching classes through Zoom or sending work to students through email or texting. If you want to practice English with your teacher, you can email me [email protected]. I will connect you to a teacher. You can also email me just to say hello. I miss seeing you at school!
This is an article that you can listen to and read about summer activities and their risk. Risk means how strong the chance is that you could get Covid-19. Low risk is better. High risk is dangerous. Some words might be difficult to understand, but you can try to read it and find out the risk.

Hi Everyone! I posted some videos and an article about Mr. Rogers. His TV show was an important part of my childhood and his words still inspire me today, especially during this unusual time. Most people between the ages of 20 and 50 years old will remember Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. He taught kids about life. As you watch, read and listen, you can pay attention to the verb tenses you hear and write down words you don't know.
Friday May 8th
Today I posted a video about Michelle Obama. I used several different verb tenses. You can watch the video and then look at the documents I posted. I hope everyone is doing well. Send me an email to say hello and to practice your writing.

I hope you all had a nice weekend. This morning, I posted a video about Making Coffee. You will see how I make coffee every morning. You will hear the simple present tense. After you watch the video, you can read the transcript of the video. You can also email me to tell me what you like to drink and how you prepare it.
Friday May 1st Happy May!
Hello Everyone! I have had a very busy week, so I wasn't able to make any new videos. Today, I feel tired and I want coffee! I posted a video about coffee around the world on the video lessons page. Do you like coffee? How much coffee do you drink every day? Did the video mention anything familiar to you?
Sunday April 26th
Hi Everyone! This morning I posted a video about comfort food. There's a lot of good cooking vocabulary in the video and the past tense. Also, I posted a video about pronouncing the past tense from my favorite site for pronunciation called Elemental English. Both lessons are on my video lessons page. Enjoy!
Tuesday April 21st
Hi! I hope you had a nice week last week. Today I posted a video about Face Masks and yesterday I posted a video and materials about National Parks on the Video Lessons page. Check it out! I also posted a Blog Discussion question. Also, I realized my video lesson page did not look right on phones, so I changed it. I hope it looks better now!

Hi Everyone,
I posted a new video in which I introduce a useful article from the CDC about coping with stress. You should watch my video first, then read the article, and then click on the practice button to do some of the activities.
And just for fun because today is April 14th, I want to share my favorite singer. Her name is Gillian Welch. She is a singer-songwriter and she plays the guitar. She has a song called April 14th. It's a slow relaxing song. In the song she refers to 3 historical events that happened on April 14th- the sinking of the Titanic, the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and a giant Dust Storm that happened in the past. The second video is Gillian singing live with her partner David Rawlings.

Today's new lesson is about Chores. I created it with an app called Loom. This is the first time I've used this app.
When you watch the video, you should pronounce the words out loud to practice.
Have a great day!

Hi Everyone,
Today is April Fool's Day in the United States. It's a day to play tricks on people. Usually they are just silly jokes. Do you have a day like this in your country?
Also, yesterday, I added a new lesson with 3 parts. I hope you try it. The TED Talk might be a little difficult, but you can translate it in your language on the website after you watch it only in English. If you like this lesson, please send me an email at [email protected].
